On a latching / bistable output module the output signal is inactive when module is powered up. Any impulse signal on input-1 automatically changes the output state and latches the output signal. The output will remain in the last state until input-1 senses a subsequent impulse signal. This pulse on, pulse off cycle will continue indefinitely as long as pin-4 is providing power to the module
