The SS8 Series 1 is DFX’s latest industrial IO micro controller designed for harsh environments. The SS8’s standard hardware design includes 8x low-side outputs, 3x analog / digital inputs and also 2x serial communication ports for Modbus RS-485 and CAN bus. This powerful module is manufactured utilizing a fully certified Particle io Photon micro controller which not only gives our customers a simple programming experience, but it also enables the SS8 with advanced IOT capabilities via the Photons powerful Wi-Fi chip. An added benefit of the embedded Photon is that the customer also have access to Particle io mobile app and browser based development tools. The SS8 is available in multiple configurations and can be customized to each customer’s unique requirements. The developer version of the SS8 was created for customers who want to create their own product and manage their own software development. DFX makes code development easy by including demo code with the SS8. DFX also provides firmware libraries free of charge on our community based GitHub site.
